History

The company commenced operations in 1985, under the name International Cargo Control. As a forwarding subsidiary of the Manton Customs group, which was established in 1947, quality customs brokerage and consulting services were provided to commerce and industry throughout eastern Australia.

The name was changed when the company joined forces with Taiwan based Air-Sea Transport Incorporated. There are now 3 offices in Australia and 48 in China and Asia, plus partners throughout the world in a global network.

In Australia seafreight import forwarding was the company's earliest activity. Since 1996 our cargo volumes from China and Asia have experienced dynamic growth and now represent our largest trade sector. Airfreight forwarding followed as a natural result of most overseas agents also offering this service and Australian customers seeking a "one stop shop" environment with their forwarder. Export services for both sea and air were commenced in 1990 and have grown strongly despite the recession of the early nineties.

The company now operates in 3 states in Australia and employs over 25 staff nationally.
